A big thank you to Morrisons at South Shore, for allowing BMS to do promotional work for the school.

We are promoting our Wellbeing reduced memberships for beginners acoustic guitar.

WELL BEING GUITAR GROUP – BEGINNERS – STARTING WEDNESDAY 21ST AUGUST – 10.30 AM

REDUCED MEMBERSHIP COSTS

 

We are Blackpool Music School, a small charity run school with a big passion for music.

 

Due to success of our well-being over 55s groups, we are now introducing another class.

 

One-hour sessions, at the excellent price of £24.00 per calendar month, normally £46.00.

 

Classes will be no larger than six students per group.

 

The school provides instruments for use in class free of charge, and provides a hire service for use at home.

 

We really hope the young at heart, will come and join us.

OPEN DAY AND OPENING OF NEW EXTENSION BY MAYOR A GREAT SUCCESS

Open Day was a success with the Mayor Amy Cross opening the new extension, and with appreciation certificates being given out, to those who had contributed time, money and materials to this project.

Granada Report covered the opening, and also the progress of our teenage students, who are in our Rock Star Project.

Granada Report airing our event on Wednesday the 31st July.

BMS OPEN AFTERNOON – TUESDAY 23RD JULY 2019

OPENING OF EXTENSION – 1.30pm to 4.00pm – Why not come and take a look at our school!

 

We are thrilled to announce that our new rear extension is now completed.

 

This has been designed to help students with wheel chair disabilities, to access the school.  In addition, we have a disabled toilet and dedicated parking spaces.

 

We could not have completed this building without funding from The Vera Wolstencroft Children and Animal Charitable Trust, and the help of local businesses, which have donated materials and time.

 

BMA would like to invite you to look round our new extension, on Tuesday the 23rd July 1.30pm to 4.00pm.  Refreshments will be available.

NEW PROGRAMMES FOR ELECTRIC GUITAR AND DRUMS – 2019

 

 

Blackpool Music School, is a small non- profit making, charity run, community school.

 

We are introducing some new programmes aimed at children aged 7 -11 and 12-15 years of age.

 

Classes would consist of 4 to 8 students in the electric guitar group, taught with one tutor (plus assistant) and four students for the drum group.

 

As we are a charity run school, we can’t charge for lessons, so the students would be enrolled on a rolling membership.  The fees for this membership would be £46.00 per calendar month, to be paid by standing order. Classes will be held at the school on a Saturday or evenings, with 1-hour tuition being provided, (dates and times to be confirmed).

 

Students will follow the, ‘Rock School Curriculum’ and will have the opportunity to take examinations, should they wish to do so.

 

Most of all we want it to be enjoyable for the children and fun.
