BLACKPOOL MUSIC SCHOOL FUND RAISER – Thursday 24th October 2019

Venue – Stanley Ward Conservative Club, Common Edge Road, Blackpool.

 

We are pleased to announce that BMS is presenting a concert, to help raise extra funds for the school.

 

BMS is a small charity run school with a big passion for music. It provides affordable music for the local community, together with funded projects.

 

The teenage students from our Rock Star project will be performing at this concert. 

 

Doors will open at 7.00 pm – 7.30 pm Comperes Mark Holt/ Rick Lunt with introduction – Sax ensemble with Ray Jones -7.45 pm Rock Star band students – 8.15 pm Presentation of student certificates – 8.30 pm  Hot pot supper/raffle – 8.30 pm Surprise Guest – 9.30 pm – BMS -Chloe Hart/vocalist and Caroline Cooper/keyboard with selection of songs. Close of evening 10.00 pm.

 

Tickets: – Adults £8.00 – Children under 12 years £5.00, including hot pot supper. Tickets are available through either BMS or SWCC.

WELL BEING GUITAR GROUP – BEGINNERS – STARTING WEDNESDAY 21ST AUGUST – 10.30 AM

REDUCED MEMBERSHIP COSTS

 

We are Blackpool Music School, a small charity run school with a big passion for music.

 

Due to success of our well-being over 55s groups, we are now introducing another class.

 

One-hour sessions, at the excellent price of £24.00 per calendar month, normally £46.00.

 

Classes will be no larger than six students per group.

 

The school provides instruments for use in class free of charge, and provides a hire service for use at home.

 

We really hope the young at heart, will come and join us.

We are thrilled to come second in a local Charity event, run by Tesco’s.

This money will go toward supporting on going projects.

We would just like to express our thanks to the Police Commissioner and The Edith Mary Clark Foundation, for supporting Blackpool Music Academy.

This funding will be used to continue the Rock Star project for teenagers and our Wellbeing Course for the over 55s.

Without funding, we couldn’t do, what we do for the local community.
