Blackpool Music School is pleased to welcome Debbie Smart as part of the team. She will formally take over this postition on 26th April 2022.

Debbie has come from a varied managerial and administrative background and will be able to put this experience to good use in the day to day running of the school. Debbie is thrilled to be part of this wonderful, community based music school and hopes to be here for many years to come.

Blackpool Music School is going out into the local community. This new and exciting project is called ‘Entertainment for All’ with our first concert being scheduled at Stanley Park Bandstand on Sunday the 29th of May, 1pm-4pm. There will be a variety of artists, including our very own Rock Star and Youth Band. It is a fantastic opportunity for the school to show case some of our many talented students, as well as other artists.

This is one of ten concerts the school will be performing, and we would really appreciate your support.

Hopefully, the weather will be in our favor, and everyone can enjoy some great entertainment in the sunshine.

See you soon!

Blackpool Music School would like to sincerely thank the Dulverton Trust Fund for their kind donation of £5,000.00.

We are starting a new project this spring/summer  ‘Entertainment for All’ which takes our students and entertainers out into the community.

Students will learn how to perform in front of a live audiance at various venues, and will also benefit from learning the technical side of setting up a show.

This money will help with costs involved with this project.

THANK YOU!

We would like to express our appreciation to the Vera Wolstencroft Children’s & Animal Trust.

Blackpool Music School received the sum of £18,335.89 in October 2021, which will be used to set up a new project.

NEW PROJECT  – Entertainment for All.

We have used this funding to purchase the necessary equipment and a new trailer, so we can take entertainment out in the community.

This will give our students a chance to do live entertainment, as well as learning the technical side of things.

We are hoping to get this project under way by this spring/summer, doing ten events per year at various venues.

Watch this space!

Blackpool Music School will be closes for half term after lessons on Friday

20th October 2023 and reopen on Saturday 4th November 2023

We would like to thank the Albert Hunt Trust for their donation of £1,000, which was used to help support our Variety Show 2021.
